Former Everton and Manchester United Star Marouane Fellaini Tests Positive for Coronavirus

Former Everton and Manchester United Star Marouane Fellaini has tested positive for Coronavirus (COVID-19). The 32-year-old announced on his Twitter account.

“Dear friends, I have been tested for coronavirus and my test result is positive”, said Fellaini. The former Belgium international moved to China in February 2019 to play for Chinese Super League side Shandong Luneng Taishan. The Belgian spent 11 seasons in the English Premier League.

Wuhan, the capital of China’s Hubei province is said to be the epicenter of Cronavirus outbreak with more than 81,000 reported cases out of which 3,000 people have lost their lives so far.

“Thanks to the fans, medical staff and the club for their care and attention. I will follow the treatment and hope to return to the game as soon as possible”, said the Belgian.
